KISHA POLLARD TELLS SMU HOW SINGLE PARENTHOOD LEAD HER TO HER OWN SELF-DISCOVERY

Kisha Pollard, "KP", is an experienced transformational leader with a passion for associate development, engagement, and driving business results through learning. She has 15+ years of experience working with a fortune 100 insurance and financial services company where she has built a diverse resume in sales, customer services, individual contributor, and leadership roles. She currently leads a delivery/facilitation team that supports the claims organization. Kisha graduated from Strayer University with her undergrad in leadership in 2012. In 2019, Kisha published her first children's book, The Smile in My Voice; a book that expresses the love of a father for his daughter from birth through the various stages of her life. Kisha is a proud mother of two young adult daughters, Kyairrah (25) and Shaquoya (20). Bedford, Virginia will always be referred to for Kisha as "home", although Kisha and her daughters currently reside in Texas full-time.
